In the Battle Bots session, students will experience the thrill of designing, building, programming and controlling their very own bluetooth remote controlled battle robots in real head-to-head competition with other robotic engineers.  Or, students can help with the game system by building "raptors" (pesky obstacle robots) or a fortress.  There is an emphasis on positive, friendly competition.  Each engineer will be met at his/her level of experience - beginning roboticists will be given instruction focusing on fundamentals and more experienced students will have guidance to expand and refine their designs to new heights. Engineers that enroll in the full day get more equipment and work on "bonus projects." The week ends with an exciting championship full of thrills and spills.
