In the "Project Engineering" session, students will learn about structrural engineering and computer programming through a wide variety of LEGO Mindstorms and/or Spike Prime projects from books, from the internet, their own imagination, or any combination of the above. Here are some of the fascinating designs that have been built in the past: Great Ball Contraptions (GBCs), Machine Gun, catapult, robot arm, drag racer, walking spider, roller coaster, horse, dolphin, "thingamajig", crossbow, and Segway. Students interests drive the program: Spontaneous new student-invented themes are welcome. Students can also build and customize vehicles and engage in head-to-head competition if they so desire. There is plenty of guidance to success, and there are more than plenty of LEGO parts!
